Amidst my sophomore year in college, I created, produced, marketed, and shipped a multi-faceted product line. Comprising hand-drawn stickers, keychains, magnets, and notepads, these items served as thoughtful gifts or treat-your-self purchases. As my creations found their way to women across the country, I diligently worked to balance the demands of production, coursework, and a social life in college.
However, by the summer of 2022, a realization dawned on me. Despite my love for the creative process, customer relationships, and witnessing the tangible results of my efforts, I recognized the toll it was taking on my one chance at the college experience. This realization became the pivotal factor in my decision to close my virtual storefront. I did so with the understanding that this chapter could always be revisited, should I choose to return in the future.
